Getting Funny for Money

Jun 17, 2016

Red Nose Day & Jeunesse Kids

Ready to get silly? Jeunesse Kids is! Last month, Jeunesse Kids committed to raising money in support of Red Nose Day on May 25–26, 2016, for kids living in poverty throughout the world. Red Nose Day is a day of laughter and fun, when people across the country don red noses to “FUN-raise” in support of kids who need it most. Employees at the Jeunesse World Headquarters in Orlando, Florida pledged their support on Red Nose Day, setting up a photo booth where employees could take selfies for $1 each. Employees posted silly photos on the Jeunesse Facebook page, wearing their red noses to show their support.

Many generous donations poured in, including cash and even props for the photo booth, making the Red Nose Day drive a huge success. Many thanks to the numerous volunteers who worked so hard on this event, contributing their time and resources. We plan to make Red Nose Day an annual tradition at Jeunesse!

Jeunesse Kids also gathered volunteers in late May to spend time with school kids at the Boys & Girls Club in Murray, Utah. Employees played volleyball and basketball with the kids, read stories to little ones, and helped kids with homework during the late afternoon hours. The Boys & Girls Club provides after school care to disadvantaged children who would otherwise be unsupervised, and they appreciate Jeunesse Kids’ ongoing support.

Look for next month’s update on the Jeunesse Kids book drives currently taking place in Florida and Utah.
